Apologies if everything seems to be going a little slow at the minute. Apparently my server is having issues with mysql. Don’t know how long it’s going to last for.

I’ve switched on the “cache” so the front page should be at least viewable for the time being until it’s all over, but other parts of the site may be broken or appear down.

I really must change the standard “Error establishing a database connection” message, with a photo of a dog with a bunch of wires in its mouth. That would be awesome.

Hey, maybe I’m impatient (and maybe I should groups all of these under one post), but 15 minutes have passed, and it is still not available to download from what I can see.

Instead now, I’m getting…

Http/1.1 Service Unavailable

You may recall this was the exact same message that appeared when Amazon went down a couple of weeks back.

Well, it appears the server’s had a bit of downtime over the past few hours. Sorry about that. It was a server issue, and nothing to do with my incompetence, for once.

…. for an hour or so. 34sp are replacing the server this site resides upon, which means, while they remove the disk array from one machine and place it in another, you won’t be able to access the site.

Hopefully, there’ll be no technical hitches…. technical hitches… technical hi… beeeeeeeeep
