About
It’s about time I updated this properly. It is clearly not a copy and paste job from Glen’s blog. Honestly.
Name; Jamie P
Date of Birth; December 1979.
Aliases; Hartlepoolman (1996-1997), Arctic Fox (1997-1998) Scribbler (1998-current), Mercuryvapour (2004-current)
Occupation; I don’t like to talk about it.
Movie; The Lion King, Anchorman, Office Space, Airplane!, The Naked Gun, daft comedies. Don’t like Sci-fi.
Television; Auf Weidersehen, Pet (The first 2 Series), Interceptor, Treasure Hunt, A Question of Sport, QI, various sports, Father Ted, Phoenix Nights. I can’t follow full series. I wait until the DVD’s and watch them all in one go.
Playing (Computer game wise); Currently, nothing.
Music; I’ll discuss this in greater detail on its own page. I have a stupidly large CD and record collection.
Marital status Currently single, and have been for far too long, and living in Hartlepool, England.
Money My wages are paid by large software companies, relatively large home shopping networks (don’t go there), and a handful of smaller companies as they come and go.
I’d love to be able to sing, but I can’t carry a note. My handwriting is terrible and I regret not trying as hard as I should have with my education. OK, I copied this directly from Glen’s blog, but it’s also true for me.
I suppose I’m pretty shy. Which would probably come as a bit of a shock to people who actually know me. Or maybe it doesn’t. But when you get to know me, it’s different. Some people have described me as offensive, yet accurate.
I have to admit to going bald, and being ever so slightly overweight. OK, so you’re now picturing me as a balloon. Not correct.
I have an awful, and mostly unexplained phobia of seafood of any description. I hold my breath walking past the fish counter in Asda, and I don’t go into Morrissons, as the fish counter is near the door. I also don’t like eggs, and anything containing a large amount of vinegar. Curry is my favourite food. By far. The hotter, the better. A curry is considered top-notch by me if I suffer for it the next day.
I’m never willing to try new foods. I’ll stick to what I know wherever possible. Which, of course, is always curry related.
I don’t trust fire. I don’t trust wasps. As for spiders, they don’t scare me as much as their cobwebs do. Keep me away from cobwebs wherever possible. I really don’t like them.
I shall add to this when I think of stuff.
