Wood, trees, and other lack of knowledge
If you ever experience sound problems, please ensure that the “hardware acceleration” on the sound tab of DXDIAG is set to full. If you experience disconnections after changing your login name on ANY GAME, please try chaning it back to what it was previously. You’ll find it works wonders.
The latter example cost me a keyboard.

Thanks for that awesome life advice. I’ll bear it in mind.

Oh my turn.
Making fun of other people, does not make you look big or clever.

c64glen, you really relish the role of Internet policeman/do-gooder! Keep up the good work!

You know what’s awesome? IP Banning. IP banning rocks.

How did it cost you a Keyboard Scrib?

If I was banned, scribbler’s hit count would drop 50%.

Noscere: I had a rage fit at work (oh, I bet you miss those!), causing me to snap a keyboard across my knee, and keys to go flying everywhere.
I thought I’d check the stats, because I’m sad like that… 0.026% of my hits have came from Japan in the last 30ish days.
IP banning would be an answer, yes, but I filter his comments anyway. Any comment from a .jp domain automatically gets put into the authorisation queue, so I have to accept it before it appears on the site. Everyone else, such as yourselves, get automatically added.
I obviously realise that Chad only does this for the trolling factor, and in fact he even addressed himself as “my no. 1 troll” in a recent physical postcard delivered to Mercuryvapour Towers, all the way from the land of sushi and that rice wine stuff I can’t remember the name of… as long as nothing overly offensive gets posted, I’m happy to play along.

Where you planning on going this year Jamie?

That was good timing. I’ve just got in from work. Oh, and don’t bother keeping scores, I can still ban you if I wanted to. As for the holiday, Vienna looks favourite, but all plans are up in the air as it’s still not booked and Jonathan isn’t going.
