Goodbye Twitter, I hardly used ye.
It was a bit of a larf to receive updates of what people on my friends list were doing. That would be Glen, then.
I’m sure that the 7 “followers” I accumulated in my short time using the service were delighted to receive an SMS every time I went for a runny shit. But, apparently, it costs them far too much money to send SMS’s each time someone twitters about something inane. Therefore, they’re switching off the SMS recieve option.
Therefore, Twitter is now no more than yet another web based IM client, which is useless to me. I don’t have much of a use for it anyway. I’ve got that sidebar thing, which I positively hated, and I’m glad to see the back of that load of bollocks.
Also, Utters (or Utterz, whichever it is), I also used, for short-lived voice posts, was even more of a waste of time. NOTHING can compete with a keyboard for blogging.
