EDIT. I’ve found a reference to what I assume is your missing comment…

“Comment #11781 by The Ghost of Xmas Past has been added to post #883, named Up early again, and Christmas party!. Comment status is not approved.” Looks like it might have fallen foul of the spam / privacy filter in some way. There are a few banned words which trigger deletion, such as most swearies, famous brands of pharmaceutical (or however it’s spelt) drugs, private things such as my full name and street name, Carol Vorderman and a few other bits and bobs before Akismet got “good”.

As for me I’m off to the tropical paradise of Taiwan.
