Interesting Germany fascinated you so much. I myself went to the UK, France, Hungary and Austria. After living in Japan for 7 years now, I saw way more similarities than I used to. There wasn't much that seemed so out there or anything like that, especially compared to here. If you liked Berlin, than any of the other European capitals will impress you. I recommend Prague, Budapest, Rome and Paris. I would also like to state that the English "summer" is shite. Constant cloud and rain is not summer weather. Glad you had a good vacation.
