Short post
This is not going to be long, because frankly, I’m knackered. Absolutely goosed. Anyway, just for histories sake, today was the day they shut the bottom of Powlett road so they can demolish the old railway bridge, and replace it with a new one…
It’s just as well. It’s rusted to hell and back, there’s more pigeons living in it than an allotment the size of Newcastle, and it’s big and ugly. And crap.
But, within 3 weeks , there’ll be a shiny new one on there. It’s already partly assembled, and it’s going to be blue and white. Ugh.
